You go out on your own
and where you go, I follow.
And water might keep you well,
still I can tell that you're not well.
If I weren't the cancer in your cells I'd be worse,
I'd be hiding somewhere else - you should have heard that murmur in your chest,
excess brought your death - sad but so.
If I weren't your health undone, I'd be heard in the rattling lungs of your loved ones,
because If it's not you then it's someone...

Emergency apparently
(and then my teeth sink in, to spite the pain you're awake)
So you go on your own
Where you go, I'll follow.
